Painting Process

A good paint job involves proper prep work. At All-Brite Professional Painting & Services, we perform all the necessary painting prep work to ensure a beautiful finish. The rest of our process involves painting with top-of-the-line equipment, full cleanup, and quality control inspections.

PREPPING & PAINTING EXTERIORS CONSISTS OF:

  1. Pressure wash using algaecide to kill and remove moss, mildew and dirt.
  2. Test wood with moisture meter to assure percentage of moisture is within warranty specs.
  3. Put samples of paint on building to assure proper color and get your approval.
  4. Mask as necessary to protect windows, shrubbery, walkways, roofs, and any other surroundings to not be painted.
  5. Nail down any loose siding. Optional: replace as necessary.
  6. Wire brush, scrape and or sand any loose paint and caulking until tight.
  7. Plug knot and otherwise open holes.
  8. Re-caulk damaged or missing caulking around all windows, doors and corners using upgraded 30 year caulking.
  9. Apply peelbond type primer to troubled areas.
  10. Spray with airless sprayer, 1st coat followed by roller and/or brush as necessary, 2nd coat spray only to assure a even finish and proper thickness in order to meet warranty specifications. Includes upgraded Acrylic Latex with a warranty of 20 years or more.
  11. Trim in second color as exist, faces of board's trim, edges body.
  12. Quality control inspection to insure complete coverage on all surfaces and address any necessary touch ups.
  13. Customer walk around to assure 100% customer satisfaction.
  14. De-mask, clean-up, & garbage haul-off included.
  15. Provide lien release upon payment in full.

PREPPING & PAINTING DRYWALL OF INTERIORS CONSISTS OF:

  1. Put samples of paint up to assure proper color, sheen and get your approval.
  2. Mask as necessary to protect windows, woodwork, fixtures, cabinets flooring and any other surroundings not to be painted.
  3. Minor sheetrock repair & plugging of holes included. Optional: Texturing, major drywall repair or installation services available.
  4. Stain lock sealer to be applied to stains or full prime as necessary.
  5. Spray with airless sprayer using cross spray pattern 2 coats wet on wet to assure full coverage and even finish. All paints above contractor grade. Cut and roller services also available.
  6. Low-gloss paint used in kitchen & bathrooms for wash ability, durability and to keep the sheen from being overwhelming. Optional: semi-gloss available.
  7. Flat paint used elsewhere. Optional low-gloss or semi gloss available in areas where more durability and or light reflection is desirable.
  8. Ceilings included in same materiel as walls. Optional: Ceiling in a 2nd color, accents walls, faux finishes and antiquing.
  9. Quality control inspection to insure complete coverage on all surfaces and address any necessary touch ups.
  10. De-mask clean up & garbage haul off included.
  11. Customer walks around to assure 100% customer satisfaction.
  12. Provide lien release upon payment in full.

OPTIONS TO INCLUDE IN PREPPING & PAINTING TRIM, WOODWORK, DOORS
OR CABINETS:

  1. Plug all nail and screw holes.
  2. Caulk seams and joints.
  3. Sand woodwork as necessary.
  4. Wipe down with Tac Cloth to remove dust and debris.
  5. Prime using stain lock adhesive primer.
  6. Second sand as necessary.
  7. Wipe down with Tac Cloth to remove dust and debris.
  8. Spray woodwork with airless sprayer using high quality semi-gloss enamel.
